Candidates selected to participate in this 13 week program(10 week - Michener) will be provided with a conditional offer of employment. To successfully complete this course, candidates must meet both academic and clinical evaluation standards. The academic portion of the course will be completed virtually. For internal candidates, successful completion of the 60 tour (450 hour) trial period is required prior to final confirmation in this role. External candidates confirmation will be in accordance with the probation period under terms of the ONA collective agreement. The RN works within a changing environment and in inter-professional teams to advocate for and promote wellness while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and ethical nursing care. The RN shares his/her/their knowledge and expertise with others and contributes to the advancement of nursing practice excellence.
