Reports to: Site Manager
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week
Status: Permanent Full-Time

Altum Health is a department within the University Health Network with over 250 employees across 11 regional sites. We offer a full continuum of prevention, rehabilitation, and health care services to third party payors and individuals, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), employers, and insurers.

We are currently looking for a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to join our Ottawa team. The Customer Service Representative must exercise judgment and decision making in the performance of a number of routine activities in accordance with specific instructions, guidelines and procedures, including: performing clerical functions of a general nature; providing support with the maintenance of electronic and paper information filing/retrieval methods, systems and/or formats; performing a limited number of routine statistical and financial processing activities of a clerical nature; proofreading, typing/word processing and inputting basic data/information; receiving and forwarding telephone and other inquiries to appropriate personnel; performing additional clerical functions, as assigned; performing cross-functional support functions; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required.  Bilingualism is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of High school education required
• Completion of related College diploma and/or certificate preferred
• Excellent Customer Service skills, preferably in both official languages
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility in dealing with diversity
• Excellent data entry/computer systems skills and word processing skills – including good proficiency in Microsoft Office Environment (word, excel, power point, access, outlook)
• Ability to attend to detail and produce accurate, high quality of work
• Ability to multi-task, work in a stressful environment and under pressure
• Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
• General knowledge of processes, procedures and standards required Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
