Altum Health is a department within the University Health Network with over 250 employees across 11 regional sites (Toronto, Cambridge, Barrie, Hamilton, Sudbury, Ottawa, Oakville, Ajax, Mississauga, and Vaughan). We offer a full continuum of prevention, rehabilitation, and health care services to third party payors and individuals, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), employers, and insurers. UHN Altum Health is the largest provider of WSIB Specialty Programs in the province of Ontario.

UHN Altum Health is currently recruiting for an energetic, well organized and experienced KINESIOLOGIST with demonstrated competencies in the clinical assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, within an adult population. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in motor vehicle accident injury rehabilitation, the injured worker population, functional testing and return to work planning. Bilingualism is an asset.

• University Degree in respective profession as required by the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
• Certificate of Registration with respective College and proof of malpractice insurance
• Two (2) years related experience in the assessment and treatment of clients/patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic injuries or conditions (including lower extremity and spine); work related injuries, MVA and/or experience in the third party health care system
• Knowledge of active rehab protocols
• FAE and Return to work planning skills preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to demonstrates appropriate and effective written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills in both official languages is preferred
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job
